HOW DO I SCHEDULE A SHOOT ?
Use the CONTACT on my website to submit the details of your shoot, location and availability. You can also call, text or email me. All of the relevant contact information is located on the Contact Page.
HOW MUCH NOTICE DO YOU NEED TO SCHEDULE A SHOOT ?
Ideally, 2 – 3 days notice is enough advance to reserved your preferred date and time. If I have a cancellation, I can accommodate last minute requests, but that is rare. The more notice, the better.
WHAT IS THE BEST TIME OF DAY TO SHOOT MY PROPERTY ?
Most appointments are made based on your availability, there are a few times of the day that make for better photographs than others. West-facing homes are best photographed in the early afternoon while east-facing homes are best photographed in the morning.
WHO NEEDS TO BE PRESENT AT THE HOME FOR THE PHOTOSHOOT ?
I can use a contractors lockbox, gate codes, or virtual entry to access the home for a photography session with the homeowner’s permission. Otherwise, you or the homeowner will need to be on site to let me in at the time of the appointment. If lockbox/entry method provided does not work, and I cant access the property you will be charged a cancellation fee. It is always preferable to have the lead designer, architect or decorator on set.
HOW MUCH CAN YOU PHOTOSHOP OUT ?
I can remove some minor (non-material) things using Photoshop, but nothing is as good as making sure the home is ready to be photographed when I arrive. Keep in mind that if you want to make sure the home looks good in the images, it should look just as good in person.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT ?
If you need to cancel and reschedule our real estate photography appointment for any reason, please call or text me as soon as possible. I charge a cancellation fee of $200 if the appointment is rescheduled within 24 hours of the appointment time. If the photoshoot is cancelled we will keep your non-refundable deposit.
HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS ?
Your photos will be delivered digitally through a Wetransfer link. Inside that link, you will find two sets of images: one set of high quality images for printing on flyers or other print advertisements, and a second set specifically sized for you to upload to any website.
CAN I SELECT THE PHOTOS I WANT ?
We usually choose the best photos for the property but we understand you might want to choose your own. If you wish to select the photos you want edited, we can send you a low-res, watermarked, link that contains al the unedited JPGs captured during our shoot. You can select your favorite photos (up to the amount of the package you booked) and we will edit them. Your photos will be ready 36hrs after you send us your selection. You cannot make any changes once your photos have been selected as our team will start working on them as soon as we get your final selections.
RETOUCHING:
All packages include standard retouching to enhance the appearance of your photos! This will include compositing multiple frames for more dynamic and visually appealing images with greater depth and detail, colour correction for accurate and natural-looking colours, and cleanup for removing minor distractions, such as light switches, motion detectors, power outlets, cords, clutter, dust, stains, and other blemishes on walls, floors, and furniture.
For particularly demanding retouching needs, such as removing large objects or intricate cleanup, I offer advanced retouching for an additional rate of $75 per hour on top of my included standard retouching. If you require this type of retouching, please contact me for a custom quote and estimated turnaround time.
LICENSING:
Each package comes with a broad usage license that allows you to use the images for any purpose, without any restrictions on how or where you use them. As a result, you have the freedom to showcase your beautiful spaces in any way you choose, without worrying about extra fees or limitations. The only condition is that you do not distribute or share the photos with others who have not obtained a license directly from me.
PAYMENT:
I require a 50% deposit of the chosen package to secure your booking. This deposit is non-refundable and confirms my availability for your project. The remaining balance will be due upon delivery of the final images — payment can be made through Square, Zelle or PayPal.
